Laura Urquhart Davison was born and raised in Mobile, AL, where she attended UMS-Wright Preparatory School. She continued her education at the University of Alabama, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Upon her graduation, Laura worked in both the Private and Commercial sectors of the banking industry for 6 years. In 2011, she returned to her alma mater, UMS-Wright, where she worked in both the Advancement Office and the Lower School Office.
Laura has volunteered in the community for various organizations. She is a Mobile Infirmary Ambassador, a sustainer of the Junior League of Mobile, Treasurer of the Mobile Kappa Delta Alumnae Association, a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and past chair of the American Cancer Society’s Vintage Affair Grand Patron’s Dinner.
Laura and her husband, Jay, have two children, T. and Murray. She enjoys spending time on the water and cheering for her boys.
