Marietta Murray Urquhart, a licensed realtor with more than 22 years of experience, specializes in commercial sales and leasing. She joined White-Spunner Realty in 2015.
Marietta attended the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and received a bachelor degree in English and Mass Communications from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Named Mobile’s First Lady in 2005, Marietta is a trustee emerita of the University of Alabama System, where she served as an active trustee for 20 years. She is currently on the board for the Alabama Business Hall of Fame and chair of the Board of Governors for the University Club in Tuscaloosa. She also serves on the Foundation Board of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, the Community Foundation of South Alabama, the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf, and the advisory board of Oakworth Capital Bank of South Alabama. She is a graduate of Leadership Mobile and Leadership Alabama and has served this community in leadership roles for over 40 years; among them, she has served as Chairman of the Board of UMS-Wright Preparatory School and as President of the Junior League of Mobile.
She is married to Dr. William Johnson Urquhart. They have two daughters and four grandchildren. A member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Marietta enjoys spending time with her family, spending time on the water and playing golf.
