Our Team’s Summer Traditions

Summer is definitely the longest season along the Gulf Coast, with many locals joking that summer lasts from April to September. We polled our team to find out their favorite local summer traditions. It’s no surprise that our beautiful beaches made the top spot!

Chris Harle (Commercial Sales & Leasing): “My family spends a lot of time at our Dauphin Island condo. We’ll chill at the house and ride the boat to the West End beach.”

Crawford Stitt (Commercial Sales & Leasing): “My favorite summer tradition is fishing and diving in the Gulf from the Orange Beach area!”

Leigh Dale Younce (Commercial Sales & Leasing): “We love sitting on the back deck of the Bluegill to eat seafood and listen to live music.”

Alton (Property Manager): “We like 4-wheeling at local ATV parks and fishing.” (however, Alton refused to tell us his favorite fishing spot)

Stacey (Receptionist): “We love the beach and look forward to being able to drive over for the day just about every weekend! Nothing beats the white, sandy beaches of Alabama! It’s so relaxing to be able to lie in the sunshine and listen to the waves crash onto the shore. It’s our favorite place to be in the summer. Every summer, my mom (Nana) takes all 9 of her grandkids and her 1 great-grandkid to Orange Beach for a week. It’s a fun-filled tradition that gives the cousins time to reconnect and spend time together.”

Chrissy (Office Manager): “My favorite summer tradition is going to Dauphin Island to watch the sunset! We often have extended family and friends who visit during the summer. When it gets too hot for us on the beach, we’ll visit local museums.”

Katie (Leasing Coordinator): “Our favorite summer activities are camping and going to the beach. Both typically include water, so it’s a way for us to stay cool & make memories as a family. Some of our favorite campsites are Splash (Milton, FL), Paradise Ranch (Tylertown, MS), and Jellystone in Pelahatchee, MS.”
